Tickets for DOK Brda 2023 are on sale
We have just reached 15 March and the start of ticket sales for the Open Cellar Days in Brda – DOK 2023, which will take place on Saturday, 10 and Sunday, 11 June.
So, hop on to our shop to buy the tickets. And hurry up; prices are lower in the presale.
Tickets for the Open Cellar Days – DOK 2023 can be bought from today onwards in our online shop (link).
The presale ticket price is as follows:
- DOK Weekend (Saturday, 10 and Sunday, 11 June): € 35.
- DOK Sunday (Sunday, 11 June): € 30
- DOK BUS (Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June): 5 €
The ticket is valid for one person and includes a wine glass, a glass holder bag and a wristband. At least 4 wine tasting samples are included in the ticket price at every winemaker.
The presale ticket prices will be valid until 31 May 2023, after which the full ticket price will apply as follows:
- DOK Weekend: € 40
- DOK Sunday: € 35
- DOK BUS: 10 €
The full price will also apply on the day of the event. We therefore strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets as soon as possible.
Bus shuttles will be available again this year to ensure you are completely relaxed at the time of the event. We promise to mark the routes even better so that you don’t have to go through the hassle of identifying them and finding the locations. More information about the shuttle services will be available before the event.
But you can already buy your BUS pass now and ensure your space.
If someone in your group doesn’t drink alcohol and has volunteered to be this year’s “chauffeur”, we suggest you hire a van to avoid waiting for the bus.
The list of participating wineries is published
It is also now known which wineries you can visit this year! The list of participating wineries is already published on our website. This year, 36 wineries are opening their cellars. We’re sure there’s one you’ve never visited before. Let this be the first one on your list this year!
Every year, the Kontrabánt team, together with the winemakers, add a charitable touch to the annual get-together, and this year will be no different. As last year, we will be raising funds for a good cause together with the members of the Rotary Club of Medana-Goriška. In 2022 we cared for deprived families and talented children from the local area. This year the focus will be on purchasing life-saving devices together with you. Brda is becoming an increasingly recognised tourist area but currently does not have the best defibrillator coverage. We want to raise funds to buy and install them at the busiest points, such as the Gonjače tower, Šmartno, etc. A defibrillator, combined with well-executed chest compressions, is the only therapy to save a life during a cardiac arrest.
This year’s bottles for the auction, donated by the winemakers, will also be a bit more special. We’ll reveal more details soon.
This year we promise an even better-relaxed atmosphere! So leave all your commitments and worries at home before you arrive. You won’t even need your phone: there will be no e-tickets or e-samples this year. You’ll only get a wristband and a glass to visit the winemakers and taste the wine. You can keep your phone in airplane mode all day; just use the camera here and there for a nice souvenir photo.
To make sure you don’t get too hungry on the way from winery to winery, we are preparing PIKNIK BOX packages for 2 people, in which you can get tasty Brda delicacies: homemade charcuterie, cheese, spread, dried/fresh fruit, herbal frtalia, pastries, bread, etc. Tempted? The packages will soon be available in the online shop. Pre-purchase will be required.
