The Mavrič estate brings together the knowledge and dedication of four generations of winemakers. The story began with Alojz Mavrič, who started producing wine for his family’s needs shortly after World War I — and today, his legacy continues through the hands and hearts of the entire family.
On 10 hectares of vineyards, cultivated both by hand and machine, the family cares for their grapes with deep respect for the land and the natural environment. The majority of their production focuses on white varieties, including Chardonnay, Rebula, Sauvignonasse, Sauvignon, Muscat, and Pinot Gris. Among the red varieties, they grow Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
Every bottle of Mavrič Wines is a reflection of family connection, tradition, and the carefully nurtured soil — a story you can taste in every sip.
